Dan attended Albion College where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management and was a four-year member of the Albion Baseball team. He continued his education and obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He worked in public accounting and internal audit roles for six-plus years before his passion for helping people prompted him to the field of personal finance.

His experience with business owners inspired him to obtain the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation to ensure owners transition from their business to their eventual retirement on their own terms.

 

​Dan lives in Troy, MI with his wife, Jenna, son, Brooks, and their two dogs, Stella and Eddie. He enjoys  getting outdoors whenever possible, playing the drums, and all things Detroit sports.
